Kishásha B. Sharp
Attorney Kishásha B. Sharp hails originally from Chicago, Illinois. She relocated to South Florida after beginning her undergraduate studies at Florida Mechanical and Agricultural University, (“FAMU”). Ms. Sharp earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree from FAMU. Ms. Sharp then earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law. During her tenure at the University of Miami School of Law, Ms. Sharp served on the Moot Court Board and as Vice President of Black Lawyers Student Association.
Ms. Sharp is the founder of the law office of K.B. Sharp, P.A. Launched in 2005, K.B. Sharp, P.A. provides effective and efficient solutions to its client’s legal challenges. Ms. Sharp focuses on assisting individual and business clients maintain their assets by providing estate planning guidance, business counseling, and advising and navigating clients through the process of purchasing and selling property. She also fulfils her mission to educate clients and help them build their families through reproductive technology, surrogacy, and adoption. She is the 2018 recipient of the Dade County Bar Association Women of Distinction Solo Practice Award.
Ms. Sharp is a public speaker and change agent for social justice and equality. She serves students as a constitutional and criminal law professor at Florida Memorial University. She is a past president of Gwen S. Cherry Black Women Lawyers Association and a member of the Dade County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated. She has volunteered as a mentor for Teen Court and Women of Tomorrow. Ms. Sharp is the current President for the South Florida Chapter of the National Action Network. She also serves FAMU as the Assistant General Counsel for the FAMU National Alumni Association. Ms. Sharp is also a faithful a Trustee at New Birth Baptist Church Cathedral of Faith International under the tutelage of Bishop Victor T. Curry.
